ICI was the creation of two entrepreneurial industry veterans who recognized a niche in the automotive aftermarket for superior quality trim products, and began marketing rocker panel kits and fender trim from a small warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. Within eighteen months, the company had ventured into R&D and manufacturing, and expanded their product line to include bed rail caps, tailgate protectors, running boards, step bars and bed side rails.
